‘INVESTMENT’ IS ACTIVELY ALLOCATING RESOURCES WITH THE EXPECTATION OF GENERATING AN INCOME, GROWTH, BENEFIT OR PROFIT AT A FUTURE DATE.
Investment Type #1 – Wealth
This first investment type is well known and needs little explanation. Most of us are familiar with the concept of investing money for your future retirement. This can be achieved either through a pension scheme offered by your employer and/or investing in an individual retirement annuity at an insurance company like Old Mutual, Sanlam and the like.
Do you feel you want/need more?
If you are reading this post, you are probably looking at options offering you more than the limited provision that a pension scheme or annuity can provide. We can help you.
By starting to build a leveraged business part-time now, you can increase your current but – more importantly – also your future monthly income with any amount that you deem adequate enough to sustain your current standard of living. Investment Type #2 – Health
Now this one requires a paradigm shift! It is easy to explain and understand, however, but the difficult part is to change your thinking. Almost a century of “conditioning” has taught our subconscious mind that the doctor/medication will fix ‘it’ (whatever is wrong at the moment).
Perhaps some history will help
Many years ago we had to choose between medical aid or preventative living. At that time the Health & Wellness industry wasn’t the In Thing it is now and we knew nothing about living healthy but decided to “go for” preventative anyway. It sounded good!
Today, more than twenty years later, we are só glad we did. Compared to most of our peers, we are enjoying a much better quality of living than they are. The two most common reactions we get when meeting family or acquaintances, are:
Now this is where the paradigm shift is necessary. Most people believe that they are fine and that a quick visit to the doctor or an over-the-counter prescription will fix almost anything.
The truth, however, is that our bodies are so amazing at compensating and even hiding deficiencies for many years before it manifests as a “sudden illness”.
Let’s picture it this way: while driving your car, the oil light blinks on. You decide that it is not that important and simply stick a plaster over it. Now that you don’t see it anymore, the problem has gone away, hasn’t it? Then, one day, the temperature starts to rise and again you hide it behind a plaster. It is still going, isn’t it? And so on. Finally, your car has had enough and while on your way to an important meeting, it just dies on you! No amount of pleading gets it going again.
Compare the above analogy to many people you know (it may even include yourself): they are bundles of energy running from here to there, always off to accomplish the next goal or finish the next task. Then, one day, you hear that they are in hospital, and it is serious. Their bodies have “crashed”. Sounds familiar?
Investing in your (future) health
We want to help you to invest in your current and future health. It will require you to acknowledge that most meals we consume nowadays offer the calories but not enough nutrition.
Do you want to know why we look so good and appear younger than our peers? Our answer: intelligent supplementation.
You also have to realise that there is no “silver bullet” that will keep you healthy and balanced – no matter what advertising campaigns may tell you. Otherwise you can just eat carrots for every meal every day, can’t you?
There is a reason why you need a of variety minerals, proteins and vitamins.
